PATTON TOWNSHIP Ordinance to Amend Chapter 139, Article III, Keeping of Chickens in Residential Areas The Patton Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing beginning at 5:30 PM on July 8, 2026, to receive public comment and consider action on the proposed ordinance, the title and summary of which are: TITLE: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PATTON AMENDING CHAPTER 139, Article III, Keeping of Chickens in Residential Areas The ordinance would amend the current chicken regulations to allow for hens to be kept on lots that are less than half an acre in size.
