ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Rush Township is accepting sealed bids for the medical center Drive Paving/Stormwater Project BlD, Contract No. 26-01. Bids will be received at the Rush Township Municipal Building at 150 N. Richard Street, Philipsburg, PA 16866 until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14,2025. All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Medical Center Drive Paving/Stormwater Project, Contract No. 26-01". "lf the Bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "26-01 BID ENCLOSED" on the face of it. Please mail Bids to Rush Township at 150 N Richard Street, Philipsburg, PA 16866. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Municipal Building soon after the specified closing time. The Contract Base Bid includes installation of 11 inlet boxes and approximately 1524 linear feet of l5" Diameter HDPE Smooth Bore pipe and 30 feet of 6-inch perforated pipe with sub-grade sump. Surface restoration shall include approximately 4880 square yards of bituminous asphalt pavement wearing surface restoration, as well as, any required profile & notch milling. The Work in Contract No. 26-01 is to be completed within 45 days of notice to proceed. Said notice to proceed will be coordinated with contractor but shall be issued no later than August 30, 2026. If express delivery is requested, the charges will be paid by the recipient. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Rush Township in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Surety companies executing bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570. as currently amended and be authorized to be in business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Contracts for work under this Bid will obligate the Contractor and Subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices. The Contractor must comply with the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard. This contract is subject to Prevailing Wage Requirements.
