NOTICE NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Centre, Pennsylvania (the "County"), proposes to enact, at a public meeting to be held not less than three (3) nor more than thirty (30) days following the date of publication of this notice, an ordinance (the "Ordinance"), the caption and summary of such proposed Ordinance being as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF CENTRE, PENNSYLVANIA, AUTHORIZING AND SECURING THE ISSUANCE OF A GENERAL OBLIGATION NOTE, IN THE MAXIMUM PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $10,000,000, PURSUANT TO THE PENNSYLVANIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT DEBT ACT, TO FINANCE (1) THE 2026 CAPITAL PROJECTS, AND (2) PAYMENT OF RELATED EXPENSES; ACCEPTING A BANK LOAN PROPOSAL TO PURCHASE THE NOTE; SETTING FORTH THE TERMS AND CONTAINING THE NOTE FORM; AUTHORIZING A PROJECT FUND; CREATING A SINKING FUND AND APPOINTING A PAYING AGENT AND SINKING FUND DEPOSITORY FOR THE NOTE; PLEDGING THE FULL FAITH, CREDIT AND TAXING POWER OF THE COUNTY TO SECURE THE NOTE; AND AUTHORIZING RELATED ACTIONS AND DOCUMENTS." The proposed Ordinance may be examined or inspected by any citizen at the office of the Administrator of the County located in the Willowbank Office Building, 420 Holmes Street, Bellefonte, on any regular business day between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., prevailing time. The Ordinance available for inspection may contain blanks, as permitted by the Pennsylvania Local Government Unit Debt Act (the "Debt Act"), relating to the general obligation note proposed to be issued by the County. Such blanks will be completed by amending the Ordinance prior to its final enactment. An advertisement describing the final enactment of the Ordinance, including any amendments, will be made in accordance with the Debt Act. This Notice is given in accordance with the Debt Act.
