ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Sealed bids will be received for 26-08 Traffic Signal Replacement Project at the College Township Municipal Office, 1481 E College Ave, State College, PA. 16801 until 10 AM local time on Tues May 26, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The project includes the replacement or modifications to pad-mounted signal cabinet, 18" riser and all related equipment and appurtenances and installation of pre-emption detectors and LED confirmation lights, replacement of ped buttons, signs and battery backup system at E College Ave (SR26) / Elmwood St. Project includes replacement of battery backup system and appurtenances at Benner Pike (SR150) / Walmart Dr. Bidding docs may be examined at the CT Municipal Office between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:30PM Mon-Fri. Prospective bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Docs free of charge upon request by calling Twp office at (814) 231-3021 during the hours indicated above. The docs are available electronically or in-person pick-up. Bids must be upon the forms provided by College Township and enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "26-08 Traffic Signal Replacement Project". Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to College Township. Bid must also be accompanied with an Anti-Collusion Affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification and Affidavit accepting provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Act. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each representing One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Certificate of Insurance. The College Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
