ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received for the Houserville Road Sidewalk Project at the College Township Municipal Office, 1481 East College Ave, State College, PA 16801 until 2:00 PM local time on Friday, May 15, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The bid includes the construction of 1,375 LF of concrete curb and sidewalk along the south side of Houserville Road between Ivy Hill Drive and Spring Creek Park/Spring Lea Drive along with related drainage improvements. Prospective bidders may obtain bidding requirements and contract documents in electronic file format for the Issuing Office of Keller Engineers located at 3500 East College Avenue, Suite 1100, State College, PA 16801 (814-231-2925) at no fee. The bidding requirements and contract documents may be examined at the College Township Office Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Bids must be upon the forms provided by Keller Engineers and enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Houserville Sidewalk Bid". Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to College Township. The cost estimate of this transportation project is over $100,000 and is therefore subject to the Pa. Prevailing Minimum Wage Act. A mandatory pre bid conference will be held at the College Township Municipal Building on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM. The College Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
