Notice is hereby given that College Township, Centre County, proposes to adopt an update to its Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan following a 30-day public comment period, which is hereby established. This notice is to inform the public that this project will involve the replacement of an existing gravity sewer main that will result in public expenditure in excess of $100,000, and, therefore, is subject to public comment and review for a period of 30 days. User fees are not anticipated to be directly impacted by this project. This update consists of a Component 3 Planning Module submission to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP). The project involves the replacement of an existing gravity sewer main in College Township, Centre County. The proposed project will replace existing gravity sewer main from the end of Vairo Boulevard to Rocky Top Lane and connect into an existing gravity sewer line near the intersection of Big Hollow Road and Alpha Lane. The construction of the project will disturb approximately 0.4 acres of land along the proposed alignment. Upon publication of this notice, a 30-day review and comment period is in effect. Anyone wishing to review and/or comment may do so during this 30-day period. The Component 3 Planning Module may be reviewed during the public comment period at the office of College Township, located at 1481 East College Avenue, State College, PA 16801.
