PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD CENTRE REGION ACT 537 SEWAGE PLAN SPECIAL STUDY – MEEKS LANE PUMP STATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the University Area Joint Authority (UAJA) has prepared a Special Study to the Centre Region Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan regarding the Meeks Lane Pump Station. The UAJA owns and operates the Centre Region's primary wastewater treatment facility, and the Centre Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) coordinates the regional planning and approval process for the Special Study. The Special Study evaluates alternative conveyance methods within the West Patton Township portion of the sewer service area. The project consists solely of wastewater conveyance improvements and does not involve new or increased discharge. Other alternatives that were considered: • Cedar Cliff Alternative • Meeks Lane Alternative A • Meeks Lane Alternative B • Meeks Lane Alternative C • Meeks Lane Alternative D • Blueberry Crossing Alternative • No Action Alternative The proposed Special Study is available for public review online at www.crcog.net/Act537Plan. A hard copy will be available at the Patton Township Municipal Building, 100 Patton Plaza, State College. The public comment period is open March 23, 2026, through April 23, 2026. All interested persons are encouraged to review the Special Study and submit written comments to glauder@crcog.net.
