NOTICE OF 2026 GENERAL PRIMARY In accordance with the provisions of Section 906 of the Act of June 03, 1937, P.L. 1333, as amended, known as the "Pennsylvania Election Code", the Centre County Board of Elections hereby gives notice of the offices for which candidates are to be nominated at the General Primary, May 19, 2026 The following are the public offices and number to be elected at the General Primary: Governor Vote for One – All Precincts within Centre County Lieutenant Governor Vote for One – All Precincts within Centre County Representative in Congress 15th District Vote for One – All Precincts within Centre County Representative in the General Assembly – 77th Legislative District – Vote for One – Includes Boroughs of Philipsburg, Port Matilda, State College – Northwest, South 1, East Central 2, West 1 & 2, West Central 2. Townships of Ferguson, Halfmoon, Huston, Patton, Rush, Taylor and Worth Representative in the General Assembly – 82nd Legislative District – Vote for One – Includes Boroughs of Howard, Milesburg, Snow Shoe, State College – North, Northeast, South 2, Southeast, South Central 1 & 2, PSU, East 3, East Central 3, & Unionville. Townships of Benner, Boggs, Burnside, College, Curtin, Harris, Howard, Liberty, Marion, Snow Shoe & Union.
