Legal Notice Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Harris Township shall conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on February 9, 2026, to receive public comment and consider action on proposed Ordinance No. 383 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HARRIS, CENTRE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE III, SUBSECTION B, ENTITLED "PLANNING COMMISSION" BY AMENDING SECTION 1-3.11, MEMBERSHIP.". The meeting will be held at the Township Meeting Room, 224 East Main Street, Boalsburg. All interested parties are invited to participate in the hearing. The ordinance would amend Section 1-3.11, entitled "Membership" to define the membership of the Planning Commission as seven members and allowing for the appointment of up to three alternate members. The ordinance requires that all members of the Planning Commission be full-time residents of the Township, provides term lengths for appointees, and references relevant provisions of the Municipalities Planning Code.
