NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT – GOVERNMENT CODE § 4217.12 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT – GOVERNMENT CODE § 4217.12 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District will hold a public hearing as follows: Date: September 2, 2026 Time: 6:00 PM Location: Oceano CSD, 1655 Front Street, Oceano CA 93445 The purpose of the hearing is to consider entering into an Energy Service Contract pursuant to California Government Code Sections 4217.10-4217.18 for the development, design, construction, installation, and/or financing of energy conservation and infrastructure improvements at District facilities. The proposed project may include, but is not limited to: Biogas fueled cogeneration system Energy efficiency upgrades Electrical and mechanical system improvements Related infrastructure and controls At the public hearing, the Board will consider adopting the finding that the anticipated cost of electrical energy or conservation services provided by the energy conservation facility under the contract will be less than the anticipated marginal cost to the District of energy that would otherwise have been consumed by the District in the absence of those purchases.
