REQUEST FOR BIDS NOTICE RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Central Coast Water Authority, at 255 Industrial Way, Buellton, California 93427, until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, for the "Polonio Pass Water Treatment Plant Ammonia Tank Relining Project." DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes removing the existing rubber lining and installing a new liquid vinyl ester lining or ultra-high solids epoxy lining inside an existing 6,700 gallon ammonia tank, removing and reinstalling the light-weight structural steel canopy structure above the tank, removing and reinstalling the ammonia tank, transporting the tank to a qualified offsite coating shop, removing and replacing damaged cement grout between baseplates and the supporting concrete floor or tank pedestals, repairing any exterior coatings damaged during construction activities and handling and perform an onsite 24-hour soak test on the relined tank. WORK will be performed during and after the scheduled Fall Polonio Pass Water Treatment shutdown, in late October and early November. SITE OF WORK: The site of the WORK is located at the Polonio Pass Water Treatment Plant, or California State Route 46, CA between Lost Hills and Paso Robles. The plant is located approximately 2 miles off the South side of California State Route 46; 28 miles East of Paso Robles and 33 miles West of Lost Hills, located at 5250 Antelope Road, Shandon, CA 93461 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF WORK: The WORK must be completed within 90 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. OPENING OF BIDS: The Bids will be publicly opened and read at 3:00 p.m. on September 10th, 2026, at the above-mentioned location for receipt of Bids.
