NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLACER COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WHERE: Placer County Board of Supervisors, 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603 WHEN: September 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter SUBJECT: CDRA User Fee Study: Proposed User Fee Schedule SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT-All Districts NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Placer County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing at the above place and time to consider the adoption of a resolution adopting the Community Development Resource Agency's (CDRA) User Fee Study and approving the proposed CDRA User Fee Schedule. The CDRA User Fee Study determined the full cost of the services provided by CDRA, particularly in the following programs where fees are charged for services: Building Services Division, Engineering and Surveying Division, Planning Services Division and Short-Term Rental Program. The CDRA User Fee Study informed the proposed fee schedule which modernizes CDRA's development-related fees, aligns fee structures with current industry standards and business practices, and improves consistency across agency programs. The proposed fee schedule would apply countywide and result in an overall cost recovery rate of approximately 75.9 percent for CDRA user fee services. To balance the County's fiscal objectives with minimizing impacts on customers, the proposed fee schedule, if approved, would take effect on January 1, 2027, with most fees implemented or adjusted incrementally over a three-year period.
