NOTICE CALLING FOR NOMINATION PETITIONS FOR THE OFFICE OF TRUSTEE OF RECLAMATION DISTRICT NO. 1000 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that nomination petitions for the office of Trustee of Reclamation District No. 1000 may be obtained and filed with the Secretary of the District, at 2450 Venture Oaks Way, Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95833. Nomination petitions will be available beginning August 27, 2026, with a filing deadline of September 17, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Candidate statements are optional and should be filed at the same time. The terms of office for (3) Parcel Seats expire this year; Candidates will be elected to serve a four-year term beginning in December 2026. Positions will be filled from the persons nominated by the landowners of the District. If fewer than 3 nominations are received as of the filing deadline, and if no petition for election has been submitted, the nominees will be appointed by the County Board of Supervisors, and no election shall be held.
