NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLACER COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WHERE: Board of Supervisors Hearing Room 175 Fulweiler Avenue Auburn, California WHEN: Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard PURPOSE: NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Placer County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider excising a portion of County Service Area 28, Zone of Benefit 2A3 – Sunset Sewer (ZOB 2A3). The 244 parcels, or portions thereof, to be excised were included in the creation of County Service Area 28, Zone of Benefit 239 – Placer Ranch Sewer in 2024 for the purpose of providing sewer service to those parcels, pursuant to the Placer Ranch Specific Plan. Such properties are generally located in the western undeveloped portion of the Sunset area, consisting of approximately 157 acres. The proposed change is organizational only. No change in sewer rates is being proposed.
