Ordinance Summary On May 12, 2026, at the North Tahoe Event Center, 8318 North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach, CA 96143, the Placer County Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance by a vote of 4:0 Ayes: DeMattei, Jones, Gustafson, Landon, Absent: Gore, Noes: None to repeal and replace in its entirety Appendix B: Development Standards and Design Guidelines for the Village at Palisades Tahoe Specific Plan ("Appendix B"). Specifically, this ordinance will incorporate amendments into Appendix B that reduce development on Lots 16 and 18 in accordance with their re-designation to Village – Forest Recreation; increase building separation for Lots 12A/B, 1A/B, 3, and 4; and include additional graphic examples that meet the Development Standards and the intent of the Design Guidelines.
