NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLACER COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WHERE: Board of Supervisors' Chambers, 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603 WHEN: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 – 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard SUBJECT: Public Hearing to consider a Resolution to annex the Placer Commerce Center project, Assessor Parcel Numbers 017-063-084-000, 017-063-085-000, 017-063-086-000, 017-063-087-000, 017-063-088-000, into Community Facilities District No. 2012-1 (Sunset Industrial Area Services) for Fire and Emergency Services NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Placer County Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing at the above place and time to consider the annexation of Assessor Parcel Numbers (APNs) 017-063-084-000, 017-063-085-000, 017-063-086-000, 017-063-087-000, and 017-063-088-000 into Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2012-1 (Sunset Industrial Area Services), for purposes of financing fire protection and emergency medical services. At the hearing, the testimony of all interested persons for or against the annexation of the territory or the levying of the special taxes will be heard, ballots will be tabulated, and if a majority of voters residing in the proposed territory file written protests, no further proceedings will be taken pursuant to Government Code section 53324. The voting procedure will include calling the election, declaring results of the election and considering approval of the annexation. On April 7, 2026, the Board of Supervisors adopted a Resolution that declared the Board's intent to annex the territory (APNs 017-063-084-000, 017-063-085-000, 017-063-086-000, 017-063-087-000, and 017-063-088-000) into existing CFD No. 2012-1 , and to levy a special tax to pay for certain public services, all pursuant to the provisions of the Mello Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the California Government Code. The Resolution describes the territory to be annexed, specifies the type of services to be financed, and describes the rate and method of apportionment of the proposed special tax. No change in the tax levied in the existing CFD No. 2012-1 is proposed. Interested persons are invited to attend the hearing through the means provided on the meeting agenda, found at https://www.placer.ca.gov/10616/_2026.
