NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) has selected F&H Construction, Inc. of Lodi, California as the lease-leaseback prime contractor for the Relocatable Additions Project at Arnold Adreani Elementary School. F&H Construction will be soliciting bidders to submit proposals no later than Friday, May 15, 2026, no later than 2:00 p.m. PST. All bids are to be submitted and received by F&H Construction, Inc. via email to estimating@f-hconst.com, Fax to 209-931-4427. Bids shall conform to all Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents,which may be obtained from: F&H Construction / estimating@f-hconst.com, Local Builders Exchange or Dodge Construction Network. Project Description: Relocation of (1) existing portable building located on this site to a new location on this site. This would include disconnection of and reconnection of utilities. Site coordination work for the installation of (4) leased buildings. Buildings to be set and placed by the leasing company. Connection of utilities to buildings. Installation of underground utilities, to include water, wastewater, power and low voltage, to all (5) buildings. Installation of low voltage to interior of buildings, to include fire alarm, intrusion and data. Minor alternations of Units D1, D2, D3, D4 and D5.Installation of ramp, platform and fencing.Please Note:Time is of the essence for this project. All work must be fully completed no later than August 1, 2026 (the "Date for Completion").Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) subcontractors are required to be pre-qualified with Elk Grove Unified School District. Subcontractors must comply with all Skilled and Trained Workforce Compliance requirements per the Education Code 17407.5 and Public Contract Code 2600-2603. This project requires contractors to be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and possess an active DIR# throughout the entire project duration. The project requires prevailing wages. F&H Construction is signatory to the Carpenters and Laborers Unions, and all scopes covered by these agreements shall be signatory. Prime contract terms and conditions shall apply to all subcontracts. There is a Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) good faith effort requirement of 3%.A pre-bid job walk is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the construction site located at 9927 Wildhawk West Drive, Sacramento, CA. 95829.
