CITY OF FOLSOM NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY CHARTER TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE VOTERS AT THE NEXT STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that prior to approving the submission to the voters of a proposal to amend the City Charter, the City Council of the City of Folsom will hold two public hearings on the matter of the proposal to amend the City Charter and the content of the proposed amendment(s). The first public hearing will be held on May 12, 2026, at 6:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers at 50 Natoma Street, Folsom, CA 95630. At that time, the 2026 Ad Hoc Charter Review Committee will submit its report and recommend updates and changes to the City Charter for City Council consideration. The second public hearing will be held on June 23, 2026, at 6:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers at 50 Natoma Street, Folsom, CA 95630. At that time, the City Council will consider the introduction and first reading of the ordinance(s) containing the full text of the proposed amendment(s) to the City Charter. If approved by the City Council, the proposed amendment(s) to the City Charter will be submitted to the voters at the next statewide general election on November 3, 2026.
