York City Council Public Hearing York City Council shall conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at York City Hall to consider a recommendation from the Planning Commission regarding the following: 1. An ordinance to amend Chapter 14, Article 5 of the City of York, SC Code of Ordinances (Animals). 2. An ordinance to amend Appendix A, Section XV of the City of York, SC Code of Ordinances to add unified Mobile Food Vending regulations. 3. An ordinance to amend Appendix A, Section VIII(15,16,17) to remove Mobile Food Vending language from B-1, HC, & GI Zoning Districts. 4. An ordinance to amend Article IV-2 & IV-3 of the City of York Subdivision Ordinance to revise timelines for preliminary and final plats to comply with South Carolina law, and to remove registered mail notification requirement to the subdivider prior to the meeting.
