Notice Title: An Ordinance Deleting and Adding Section 15.148.965 of the Sacramento City Code, Relating to Agreements for Digital Billboards (M25-012) [Passed for Publication 02/03/2026; Published 02/06/2026 and 02/13/2026]
Location (of project): Citywide
Project Description: A proposed ordinance to revise section 15.148.965 to authorize up to seven digital billboards located on City-owned or City-leased property in connection with a funding agreement for an outdoor stadium that is capable of hosting professional major-league sports and has permanent seating for at least 12,000 persons.
Environmental Determination: Not a project pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(2) and is not subject to CEQA (CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), 15060(c)(3), and 15378(b)(5)).
Prior Commission/Committee/Director Action: On November 18, 2025, the Law and Legislation Committee reviewed the draft ordinance and forwarded it to the City Council for consideration.
