Summary of Proposed Ordinance On January 20, 2026, at the County Administrative Center, 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603, the Placer County Board of Supervisors will consider the adoption of an ordinance to amend Placer County Code Chapter 2, Article 2.80 related to the Veterans Advisory Council and Service Office. Specifically, the ordinance will amend Chapter 2, Administration, Article 2.80, Veterans Advisory Council and Service Office, Sections 2.80.040; 2.80.050; and 2.80.110. These amendments to the Placer County Code will align the Veterans Advisory Committee with other county advisory boards and commissions and create more inclusive membership opportunities within the veteran community and expand representation of the veteran population.
