NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education ("Board") of the Davis Joint Unified School District ("District") will receive sealed bids for the following project, Bid No. 736-01-2526, Bid Package ("Project" or "Contract"): DJUSD SNS Delivery Trucks Purchase Agreement The Project consists of: Purchasing food service vehicles. The Nutrition Department of Davis Joint Unified School District will receive sealed bids for Two (2) Medium Duty Commercial Delivery Trucks with Refrigerated Truck bodies and lift gates, as further detailed in the attached conditions and specifications. This Contract is for food service vehicles only; no additional services are sought under this Contract. Contract Documents will be available on or after December 7, 2025, for review and may be downloaded from the District's website, www.djusd.net, using the https://www.djusd.net/departments/capital_operations/capital_improvement link. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., January 22, 2026, at Capital Operations, located at 1919 5th Street, Davis, CA, 95616, at or after which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders.A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Davis Joint Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid.No pre-bid conference or site visit will be held for this Project.The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: A. The base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made.
