SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE On November 18, 2025, at the North Tahoe Event Center located at 8318 North Lake Blvd., Kings Beach, CA 96143, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 6349-B by a vote of 5:0 Ayes: Landon, DeMattei, Jones, Gustafson, Gore Noes: None to repeal and replace the Placer County Tahoe Basin Area Plan Implementing Regulations in their entirety to incorporate amendments allowing greater flexibility of development standards for deed restricted housing to encourage the development of achievable housing. This ordinance will make changes to Chapters 2 and 3's development standards relating to density, building height, parking, and coverage in town centers and areas zoned for multifamily housing. Specifically, this ordinance will amend the density maximums, building height standards, parking minimums and coverage maximums, among other changes, in town centers and areas zoned for multifamily housing.
