Roosevelt St York, SC 29745 The City of York proposes to modify the discharge permit issued to York County Landfill – Groundwater Remediation, as part of the City of York Industrial Pretreatment Program. This permit is York Pretreatment Permit No. SCIUAB004-2026B and allows the industry to discharge wastewater to the Fishing Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The City of York has revised the permit to reduce monitoring frequencies of certain parameters from Quarterly to Semiannually and has removed the monitoring of certain parameters based on review of historical data. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the permit modifications are invited to submit same in writing within thirty (30) days on the date of this notice to the attention of Mr. Jason Blanton, Pretreatment Coordinator, City of York, PO Box 500, York, SC 29745; telephone (803) 203-1053. All comments received within the 30-day period will be considered in the formulation of final determinations regarding the permit. All persons submitting written comments will be notified of the final determinations.
