NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS GIVEN that the York County Council will conduct a public hearing relating to an Ordinance entitled "AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A FEE-IN-LIEU OF AD VALOREM TAX AND INCENTIVE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN YORK COUNTY AND AN ENTITY OR ENTITIES IDENTIFIED BY THE COUNTY AS PROJECT PALMETTO ROCK AND ITS AFFILIATED AND RELATED ENTITIES WHEREBY YORK COUNTY WILL PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT OF CERTAIN FEES-IN-LIEU OF AD VALOREM TAXES AND PROVIDE CERTAIN SPECIAL SOURCE REVENUE CREDITS; THE ALLOCATION OF FEES-IN-LIEU OF AD VALOREM TAXES PAYABLE UNDER SUCH AGREEMENTS; THE ESTABLISHMENT OR MAINTENANCE OF A MULTI-COUNTY INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS PARK; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO." The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers in the York County Government Center, located at 6 South Congress Street, York, South Carolina 29745, beginning at or after 6:00 p.m. on June 29, 2026 At the time and place fixed for this public hearing, all taxpayers, residents or other interested persons who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the matters contemplated by the Ordinance above-referenced.
