YORK COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the York County Building Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Friday, June 26, 2026. This hearing will begin at 2:00 PM in the York County Council Chambers, at the York County Government Office, 6 South Congress Street, York, SC. The following request will be heard at this time: 1. Clifton Harris, representing Historic Robertson Homestead, LLC, has filed an appeal with the Planning & Development Services Department regarding the Building & Codes Division's interpretation of Section 303.3 of the 2021 International Building Code with South Carolina modification. Pursuant to County Code §150.52, Clifton Harris has appealed the decision and is claiming that the provisions of this chapter do not apply, that an equally good or more desirable form of construction can be employed in this specific case and the true intent and meaning of this chapter or any of the regulations thereunder were misconstrued or wrongly interpreted.
