Public Hearing Pursuant to Section 6-1-80 of S.C. Code of Laws, public notice is hereby given that Chester County School District will hold a public hearing on the proposed annual operating budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2027. The public hearing will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the District Office of Chester County School District, located at 509 District Office Drive, Chester, SC 29706. The estimated total revenue for FY2026 General Fund budget is $70,592,705 with estimated total expenditure of $73,214,646. The FY2026 operating millage is 216.6 mills. The estimated operating millage for FY2027 is 216.6 mills at an estimated $108,000 per mill. The projected total revenue for FY2027 General Fund budget is $70,371,971 which reflects a decrease of 0.3% from FY2026 budget.
