NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. Section 6-1-80 (1976, as amended) and S.C. Code Ann. Section 6-1-330(A) (1976, as amended), the Board of Trustees of Rock Hill Schools (the "Board"), as the governing body of Rock Hill Schools, South Carolina (the "District"), will conduct a public hearing (the "Hearing") related to the District's annual general fund budget for the Fiscal Year 2026–2027, including the tax millage to be levied by the District. The Hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 (or as soon thereafter as time permits), at 386 East Black Street, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730. A copy of the meeting agenda will be available on the District's website at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Additionally, copies of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026–2027 budget will be available for public review at the District Office located at 386 East Black Street, Rock Hill, SC, during regular business hours. Consistent with the provisions of S.C. Code Ann. Section 6-1-80 (1976, as amended), the following information is provided with respect to the proposed Fiscal Year 2026–2027 general fund budget: Total RevenueFY 2025–2026: $234,623,027 Proposed Revenue FY 2026–2027: $240,000,000 Percentage of Change in Revenue: 2.29% Current Tax Millage: 185.1 mills Total ExpenseFY 2025–2026: $234,623,027 Proposed Expense FY 2026–2027: $240,000,000 Percentage of Change in Expense: 2.29% Proposed Tax Millage: 185.1 mills The proposed operating millage for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 reflects no change from the prior fiscal year and is subject to the provisions of S.C. Code Ann. Section 6-1-320 (1976, as amended) as well as Section 12-37-251 and may be adjusted to comply with such provisions. The proposed FY 2026–2027 Capital Maintenance Reserve Fund is a new fund with a proposed budget of approximately $800,000 for both revenues and expenditures and will levy 1.0 mill.
