ACTION: Notice of final agency determination to take land into federal trust pursuant to 107 Stat. 1118, Catawba Indian Tribe of South Carolina Claims Settlement Act of 1993.
SUMMARY: The Regional Director, Eastern Regional Office, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), United States Department of the Interior, Nashville, Tennessee, on the below date, has made a determination to acquire real property in trust for the Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut.
The land referred to as Ayers Parcel is described as:
PARCEL ONE: PID 768-00-00-070
All that certain piece, parcel and tract of land lying and being situated in the Catawba Township, York County, South Carolina and being more fully described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the center of Passmore Road (66' Public R/W), a common corner of Gilpatrick and the Catawba Indian Nation, thence leaving said road with the line of Gilpatrick S 58°22'17" W 1180.84 feet (passing through a #4 rebar found at 35.13 feet) to the Point and Place of Beginning at a capped rebar found, the common corner of Ayers, Gilpatrick and the Catawba Indian Nation, thence with the line of Gilpatrick two (2) courses and distances: (1) S46°50'11"E 196.04 feet to a #4 rebar found, (2) N 63°53'56" E 174.70 feet to a capped rebar found, a common corner with Gilpatrick and the United States of America Trustee, thence with the line of the United States of America Trustee three (3) courses and distances: (1) S 26°14'21" E 408.36 feet to a 1" pipe found, (2) S 56°50'21" W 115.61 feet to a 1" pipe found (3) S 60°50'44" W 258.24 feet to a #4 rebar found, a common corner with Garland and the United States of America Trustee, thence with the line of Garland N 34°19'46" W 1,101.54 feet to a #4 rebar found, a common corner with Garland, Passmore and Jordon Scout Investments LLC, thence with the line of Passmore N 58°29'02" E 104.10 feet to a capped rebar found, a common corner with Passmore and Harrison, thence with the line of Harrison S 46°48'11" E 244.92 feet to a #4 rebar set, a Common corner with Harrison and the Catawba Indian Nation, thence with the line of the Catawba Indian Nation S 46°48'11" E 268.60 feet (passing through a capped rebar found at 3.07 feet) to the point and place of beginning. Said tract contains 6.717 acres.

All that certain piece, parcel and tract of land lying and being situated In the Catawba Township, York County, South Carolina and being more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center of Passmore Rd (66' Public R/W) also a common corner with Gilpatrick, thence leaving said road with the line of Gilpatrick S 58°22'17" W 1,180.84 feet (passing through a #4 rebar found at 35.13 feet) to a capped rebar found, common corner with Gilpatrick and the Catawba Indian Nation, thence with the line of the Catawba Indian Nation N 46°48'11" W 268.6 feet (passing through a Capped rebar found at 265.53 feet) to a #4 rebar set, being a common corner with Harrison and the Catawba Indian Nation, thence with the line of Harrison four (4) courses and distances: (1) N 58°21'54" E 609.84 feet to a capped rebar found, (2) N 82°23'09" E 187.46 feet to a capped rebar found, (3) N 14-59-55 E 94.54 feet to a capped rebar found, (4) N 58°22'09" E 334.00 feet (passing through a capped rebar found at 302.23 feet) to a point in the center of Passmore Rd, thence with Passmore Road S 46°49'32"E 256.94 feet (passing through a mag nail found at 109.48 feet) to a point being the point and place of beginning. Said tract contains 6.723 Acres
