NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING YORK COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the County Council of York County, South Carolina (the "County"), on March 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the County Council Chambers, York County Government Center located at 6 South Congress Street, York, South Carolina 29745. The purpose of such public hearing is to receive comments regarding an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN YORK COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA AND CLOVER SCHOOL DISTRICT NO.2, BOTH POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TWO SCHOOLS AND APPURTENT FACILITIES, AND FOR MITIGATION OF TRAFFIC IMPACTS DERIVED THEREFROM, ON TAX MAP PARCEL 4880000011, COMPRISED OF 172.42 ACRES ON CANNONBALL RUN AND LIBERTY HILL ROAD WEST, PURSUANT TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT ACT; TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS; AND TO PROVIDE FOR OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO. At the public hearing, all taxpayers and residents of the County and other interested persons who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the ordinance and/or development agreement related thereto. The ordinance and the development agreement can be reviewed or a copy obtained from the Clerk to the County Council or the County Manager at the County Council Office at 6 South Congress Street, or the Planning & Development Services Office at 18 W Liberty Street, both in York, South Carolina 29745, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
