ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS LANCASTER COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT INDIAN LAND WWTP CHEMICAL STORAGE IMPROVEMENTS Sealed Bids for the construction of the "Indian Land WWTP Chemical Storage Improvements Project" will be received, by the Lancaster County Water and Sewer District at their office located at 1400 Pageland Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720, until 2:00 PM local time on March 5, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The project consists of the construction of new chemical feed facilities for lime and a coagulant for reduction of phosphorus including concrete structure, tanks, pumps, storage basins, and housing for the pumps; and emergency generator. The project also includes the removal and reinstallation of existing disc filters as indicated on the drawings including all piping, electrical, and controls. The project shall include all sitework, piping, fittings, valves, appurtenances, and other items required for a complete functioning project as shown on the Contract Drawings and included in the detailed specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Mr. Wes Carter, P.E. Outside of the envelope must be marked "Bid for Indian Land WWTP Chemical Storage Improvements Project". Envelope must also bear on the outside, the name of the bidder, bidder's address, and bidder's license number. All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document or as provided by Addendum prior to the bid. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc., 911 Norman Alley Conway, SC 29526, (843) 488-0124, Contact: Jenni Graham (graham.jenni@wseinc.com). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office by scheduled appointment, or Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations: Office of Lancaster County Water and Sewer District, and the Office of Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc. Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, upon non-refundable payment of $400.00 for each set. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc.". Upon request and receipt of the document payment indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
