CITY OF ROCK HILL ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Rock Hill Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in Council's Chambers at City Hall, 155 Johnston Street, to consider the following: Appeal Z-2025-17: Request by Matt Taggart for a separation reduction and modification to a special exception for a carwash at 4816 Old York Road. This property is zoned Limited Commercial (LC). Tax map number is 542-07-01-197. Appeal Z-2026-01: Request by Walter Rocha for a variance to setbacks and locational standards for a carport at 546 Liberty St. This property is zoned Single-Family 5 (SF-5). Tax map number is 627-02-02-044. Appeal Z-2026-02: Request by Mike Rodriguez for a variance to fence locational standards at 290 Greentree Dr. This property is zoned Single-Family (SF-4). Tax map number is 600-18-04-033. The applications and supporting materials are available upon request at City Hall. Interested members of the public and adjoining landowners will have the opportunity to speak at the hearing. Written comments on the applications may be submitted to City of Rock Hill Planning & Development Department, Zoning Board of Appeals, 155 Johnston Street, Suite 300, PO Box 11706, Rock Hill SC 29731. If the meeting must be rescheduled for any reason, the alternate date will be Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
