NOTICE OF DISCHARGED OF UNTREATED SEWAGE The City of Raleigh had a discharge of untreated wastewater from our wastewater collection system located at 3600 Croydon Mill Way, Raleigh, NC 27616 of approximately 69,750 gallons. The discharge occurred on August 23, 2026, for approximately seven hours and forty-five minutes. The untreated wastewater entered into an unnamed tributary in the Neuse River Basin. The incident was the result of a pipe failure within the wet well of the Forestville Farms Pump Station. The pipe that failed was repaired on August 26, 2026, to prevent further discharge. Work to mitigate environmental impacts in the surrounding area has been completed. This notice was required by North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143.215C.
