LEGAL NOTICE The Wake County Board of Education hereby announces its intention to authorize and approve a Wireless Telecommunications Facility Option & Ground Lease Agreement with APC Municipal Towers, LLC, at its October 6, 2026, meeting. The Option & Ground Lease will be for certain space on Board-owned property located on a portion of the Brassfield Elementary School campus, 2001 Brassfield Road, Raleigh, NC. The Option Period is for twenty-four (24) months from the Effective Date and contains one twelve (12) month extension period. If the Option is exercised, the initial term of the Lease shall be ten (10) years, with the right to extend the Lease for three (3) renewal terms of five (5) years each. The annual rent will be Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) in the first year and will be increased by three percent (3%) at the beginning of each year over the rent for the previous year.
