REQUEST FOR COMMENTS on the TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) Residents of public housing and the public are invited to review and comment on the Town of Chapel Hill Housing and Community Development's Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) revisions to the Housing Opportunity through Modernization ACT (HOTMA). The Plan provides information about operations of the Chapel Hill Department of Housing's programs and services. All comments received will be recorded and submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The official review period is from August 21, 2026, through October 7, 2026. The ACOP is available for public review and comment at the Town of Chapel Hill Public Housing Division located at 317 Caldwell Street Extension in Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27516, Monday - Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
