Public Hearing announcement August 13, 2026 4 P.M. R-Line The R-Line will be suspended on August 9, 2026, due to low ridership. The public hearing will allow the public to provide comments on the final disposition of the R-Line with the likely recommendation to be for the service to be shut down. If you would like to provide comments, please email us at goraleigh@raleighnc.gov or call 919-996-3648. Email and voice mail comments will be received until noon on August 13, 2026. You can also make comments on the service change in person during the Public Hearing held by the Raleigh Transit Authority at their regular meeting beginning at 4 p.m. on August 13, 2026. GoRaleigh conducted a service equity analysis under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to evaluate proposed service change to determine whether minority and low-income populations will be disproportionately burdened by the changes.
