Advertisement for Bidders Advertisement for Bids Sealed proposals will be received by the Engineer and the Owner, 5466 Harper House Rd, Four Oaks, NC 27524, up to 2:00 P.M., September 2, 2026 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of: Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site Maintenance Facility Construction Documents North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources Four Oaks, NC SCO ID# 25-29190-01A This project consists of improvements to the existing maintenance field and barn area at Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site, including construction of a new pre-engineered pole barn structure with enclosed bays and storage. The concrete slab is sized to accommodate up to seven (7) total bays. The Base Bid includes construction of four (4) building bays, including installation of a disconnect for a future mini-split unit in the first office bay and provision of bay fans in Bays 2 and 3. The Base Bid also includes selective demolition, repair of the existing concrete pad (excluding crack repair), installation of new water and electrical service, site grading and drainage improvements, selective tree removal, and installation of perimeter chain-link fencing with privacy screening compatible with the historic setting. Alternate Bid No. 1 includes the addition of up to three (3) additional bays to the structure for a total of seven (7) bays. Alternate Bid No. 2 includes filling and repair of cracks in the existing concrete pad. Alternate Bid No. 3 includes provision and installation of a mini-split HVAC unit in the office bay The project includes all other work as shown, indicated, or reasonably implied on the drawings and/or specifications for a complete and functional project. Bids will be received for single prime bid contracts. All Proposals will be lump sum.
