The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on August 3, 2026, at a meeting starting at 7 p.m. to hear the following requests: Annexations Andrews Chapel Road Townhouses (BDG2500020) contiguous voluntary annexation of one parcel totaling 4.602 acres located at 323 Andrews Chapel Rd. Leesville Storage Two (BDG2500021) contiguous voluntary annexation of three parcels totaling 29.48 acres located at 2935 US 70 Hwy E, 4615, 4627 Leesville Rd. 2106 Hinesley (BDG2500025) contiguous voluntary annexation of one parcel totaling 0.46 acres located at 2106 Hinesley Dr. Zoning Changes Andrews Chapel Road Townhouses (Z2500032) change Residential Rural (RR), County jurisdiction to Planned Development Residential 6.085 (PDR 6.085), City jurisdiction located at 323 Andrews Chapel Rd. Leesville Storage Two (Z2500033A) change Commercial General (CG) & Commercial General with a development plan CG(D) and Falls/Jordan Watershed Overlay District B (F/J-B), County jurisdiction to Commercial General (CG) & Commercial General with a development plan CG(D) and Falls/Jordan Watershed Overlay District B (F/J-B), City jurisdiction located at 2935 US 70 Hwy E; 4615 and 4627 Leesville Rd. 2106 Hinesley (Z2500037A) change Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), County jurisdiction to Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), City jurisdiction located at 2106 Hinesley Dr. Changes to the proposed actions may be made following the public hearing for each case.
