Public Notice/Notice of Sale In accordance with General Statues 15-12, 15-14 & 15-14.1 the Fuquay-Varina Police Department will dispose of any unclaimed property that has been in the Department's possession for a period of at least one hundred eighty (180) days or sixty (60) days for bicycles; through an electronic auction company, donating to a non-profit organization, exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or by other means of disposal after August 7, 2026. This includes, but not limited to, bicycles, scooters, purses, backpacks, currency, wallets, keys, cell phones, tablets, Jewelry, tools and other items that are legal to possess. Proceeds from the items auctioned will be donated to the Wake County Public School System.
