ADVERTISEMENT FOR PREQUALIFICATIONS: Balfour Beatty - Holt Brothers, City of Durham Parks, a Joint Venture, are accepting prequalification documentation from trade contractors for the East End & Long Meadows Parks Renovation – Early Demolition for Bid Packages: 01H-General Trades, 02A-Demolition, and 31E-Earthwork. A site walk will be held on 07/14/26 at 2:00pm at 1200 N. Alston Avenue Durham, NC 27701. An additional site walk will be held on 08/25/26 at 2:00pm. The project is located in Durham, North Carolina within East End and Long Meadow Parks. The project site is bounded by N Alston Ave, Holloway Street and Liberty Street. The project consists of site protections, daily clean up, cutting & capping of utilities, removal of site accessories, structure demolition, abatement, site clearing, import and export of soil, fine grading, site entrances, seeding. However, only those bidders that have been prequalified shall be eligible to bid. Any bid submitted by a bidder that was not prequalified shall be rejected as being nonresponsive. Completed pre-qualification packages must follow the instructions and be provided on the required forms. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to include opportunities for Small Businesses participation wherever possible in their respective bid submission. Small Businesses are a part of this contract and must comply with the State of North Carolina General Statutes. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all proposals.
