NOTICE OF SALE OF SEIZED ITEMS
Under the provisions of Chapter 15, Article 11–16 of the North Carolina General Statutes, the following property is at the Durham Police Department (DPD) for longer than 180 days its considered unclaimed property. Any person claiming an interest must report that claim to the DPD within 30 days of this notice. The Chief of Police will submit the listed property for auction to the highest bidder via www.PropertyRoom.com or disposed of items per state laws no sooner than June 2, 2026. Bicycles may be donated to a local charitable organization § 501(c)(3). The unclaimed property includes bicycles, Jazz, Marlin, Road master Diamondback, Jasion, Fuji, Marin, and similar models, including e-bikes, electronics including small and large electronics, phones, computers, hard drives, MP3 players, digital cameras, video recorders, storage media; tools and equipment including hand tools, power tools, landscaping tools, lawnmowers, paint sprayers, pallet jacks auto parts; clothing (men's and women's), shoes, jewelry, watches, wallets, eyeglasses, belts, and backpacks; household goods, luggage, storage containers, metal items, plastic and metal tubes, building materials, BB guns, archery equipment, keys, wheels, and paper documents; recreational and other items including sporting equipment, scooters, binoculars, lenses, tobacco products, and over-the-counter drugs, knives, machetes, and blades; and firearm-related items including magazines and ammunition, construction materials.
