NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO RENAME, OR OFFICIALLY NAME A ROAD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 2:00 P.M., in Room 2700 of the Wake County Justice Center, in the City of Raleigh, North Carolina, for the purpose of renaming or officially naming a road as follows: A 0.4-mile portion at the southern end of Ligon Mill Road SR 2044 from the realignment point to the terminus shall be renamed Old Ligon Mill Road. Unless cause can be shown at the public hearing why the road should not be renamed, or officially named as proposed, it is the intent of the Wake County Board of Commissioners to name the said road as above stated.
