THE CITY OF RALEIGH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CHANGE THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The Raleigh City Council will hold Public Hearings on June 2, 2026. in the Council Chamber of the Avery C. Upchurch Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street. The Public Hearings will be conducted to receive comments from the public and consider changing the City's zoning ordinance and 2030 Comprehensive Plan.
Written comments regarding a public hearing can be submitted to the City Clerk's office, Room 207, Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street, Raleigh, or via email to cityclerkpetition@raleighnc.gov up to twenty-four hours prior to the June 2, 2026 meeting.
To speak in-person at a public hearing, you are required to sign up by3 p.m. on the Fridayprior tothe meeting. You must sign up at www.raleighnc.gov/public-hearings-city-council. You may also call the Clerk's office at 919-996-3040 to sign up.

Z-43-25 Litchford Rd, being Wake PIN 1717807399 located 230 feet north of the intersection of Litchford Road and Johnsdale Road. Approximately 3.79 acres are requested by Litchford Point, LLC to be rezoned from Residential-4 (R-4) to Residential-10-Conditional Use (R-10-CU). Proposed conditions prohibit boardinghouses and apartment buildings on the property, require documentation of the existing house prior to demolition or salvage and to provide that documentation to the City of Raleigh's Historic Preservation staff and the State Historic Preservation Office, limit the number of principal dwelling units to 54, and require enhanced soil and erosion control measures during development. TCZ-2-26 Creedmoor Rd, being Wake PIN 0796425565, located at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Creedmoor Road. A text change to amend zoning conditions for approximately 4.71 acres are requested by SDC Glenwood Place LCL. The site is zoned Commercial Mixed Use-3 Stories-Parking Limited-Conditional Use (CX-3-PL-CU). Proposed conditions expand commercial uses permitted on the site, prohibit certain uses otherwise allowed in CX, expands limits on hours of operation, and maintain protective yard requirements.
