PUBLIC NOTICE LEASE OF CITY PROPERTY The City Council of the City of Durham intends to enter into a license & lease agreement for a portion of each of the following eight City-owned properties: 3111 Hursey Street, 4105 Angier Avenue, 4704 Fayetteville Road, 400 E. Woodcroft Parkway, 701 Stadium Drive, 1800 Morehead Avenue, 3700 Swarthmore Road, and 135 Latta Road The City intends to lease to Google Fiber North Carolina, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company, (Google) for a term of ten years approximately 1,600 square feet of each City-owned property (Site) and easements for utilities providing service to each Site for the continued operation of Google's network huts that house its fiber optic network. In consideration of the lease, Google will pay the City total annual rent of $40,269 for each year of the term. All persons interested in this lease are invited to attend the meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC at 7:00 P.M., June 15, 2026.
