NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE WAKE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO RECEIVE COMMENTS CONCERNING THE RECOMMENDED FISCAL YEAR 2027 BUDGET NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Manager has submitted the Recommended Wake County Operating Budget for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 to the Wake County Board of Commissioners. The public can review all materials related to the budget at www.wake.gov/budget. The Board will hold public hearings to receive comments on the Recommended Budget. Public hearings will be on the following dates and locations: Monday, May 11, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wake County Commons Building Monday, May 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wake County Justice Center Board Chamber Beginning on May 4th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the public can submit comments specifically about the budget via a form on our website at www.wake.gov/budget. Comments may be submitted until Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Copies of the FY 2027 Recommended Budget are available for public inspection via the internet at www.wake.gov/budget, and 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each weekday in the Offices of the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners (Suite 4800), the Budget and Management Services (Suite 4600) at Wake County Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.
