Advertisement For Bids Sealed proposals will be received until 1:30pm on May 14, 2026, at UNC-CH in the Giles Horney Building, 103 Airport Drive, Magnolia Conference Room (100A), Chapel Hill, NC and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment for the construction of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Lineberger Airflow Reduction Chapel Hill, NC SCO ID # 23-26796-01A The project scope of work includes replacement of pneumatic actuators on existing terminal units and hot water valves for half of the building; expansion of the existing DDC system to accommodate all new points; reprogramming of airflow setpoints for all spaces in the building and verification by TAB; replacement of an air handler return fan; replacement of two large VFD's. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders at 9:00am on April 28, 2026, at UNC-CH in the Lineberger Cancer Research Center, Room 12-001, 450 West Drive, Chapel Hill, NC. The meeting will address project specific questions and issues for preferred brand products. A building walk through will follow the meeting. Bids will be received for single prime bid contracts.
