PUBLIC NOTICE Durham County in accordance with Federal and State Regulations, is hereby giving public notice. Listed below are users in significant noncompliance with national pretreatment regulations (40 CFR Part 403), state pretreatment regulations (15 NCAC 2H.0900), or local pretreatment regulations during January 2025 through December 2025. SCM Metal Products, Inc. located 2601 Weck Drive, Research Triangle Park, and regulated by industrial user permit number DC-007 was in status of Significant Noncompliance for exceeding the Technical Review Criteria for copper in the first semi-annual period of January-June 2025. A written Notice of Violation was sent to the user's authorized representative requiring them to notify the County of the cause of the violation. SCM Metal Products, Inc. returned to compliance in the second semi-annual period of July-December 2025.
