NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CREATION OF THE MANGUM FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE DISTRICT IN DURHAM COUNTY PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Durham County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes §153A-302(c) to consider adopting a resolution creating the Mangum Fire Protection Service District. The proposed district is depicted in the following map: The report mandated by North Carolina General Statutes §153A-302(b) is available for public inspection in the office of the clerk to the board. The public hearing will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, starting at 7 P.M. in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers, Old Courthouse Building, 2nd floor, 200 East Main Street, Durham North Carolina 27701.
