Request for General Contractor Prequalification Submittals - Ligon St.-Beryl Rd. Water Line Improvements North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to the Ligon St. – Beryl Rd. Water Line Improvements, located in the West Campus precinct. This project improves the domestic water service to the Horticultural Field Labs (HFL) and the Dearstyne Complex by extending a new water line service and connection from Beryl Road and by installing a loop connection in existing piping serving the Dearstyne Complex. The project will also address domestic water pressure issues experienced by the HFL since the West Campus was disconnected from the Method Road pumping station as a result of the I-440 widening. A qualification application document must be submitted by 5:00 pm, March 24, 2026 to David Hammock, project manager, by email only. No hard copies will be accepted. Application packages will be available electronically after February 22, 2026.
