PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Text Amendment to the Land Use Ordinance Relating to the Office-Residential Mixed Use (OR-MU) Zoning District The Carrboro Town Council will hold a legislative public hearing on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as it can be heard, in Room 110 Carrboro Town Hall, to receive public comment on a draft ordinance, which if adopted would add a new subsection 15-140.1(d) to the Land Use Ordinance to clarify that standalone residential uses are subject to the density and dimensional standards for property zoned R-3 (Residential, 3,000 square feet per dwelling unit). Substantial changes in the proposed amendment may be made following the receipt of comments made at the public hearing.
